Meeting Planner Guides

When it comes to meeting and events planning, the world of possibilities can easily get overwhelming. That’s why our partner cities are committed to giving MICE professionals the most seamless possible experience as they put their events together. One way for this to happen is through meeting planner guides.

Below are the amazing guides that our partner cities have put together to help planners bring together their vision of what their events should look like.

Tokyo

The Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau reminds event planners and conference organizers why Tokyo has always been one of the most sought-after venues in the world through The Tokyo Meeting Planners Guide 2022-2023.

The guide features 125 pages filled with information on potential venues, hotels and activities throughout the city. With vibrant pictures showcasing the culture and beauty of Tokyo, the guide also highlights the impressive safety record and the remarkable technology applied throughout the city, further proving Tokyo’s eligibility as a world-class destination.

Melbourne

The Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB) offers two useful tools for planning and inspiration – an interactive Melbourne e-guide and the Ready.Set.Melbourne interactive video planning tool.

Updated throughout the year, the e-guide connects event planners and delegates with inspiring new and undiscovered experiences of Melbourne, showcasing a snapshot of why Melbourne is a popular destination for both domestic and international meetings and events. The e-guide helps planners map out itineraries and adopt a more seamless process in planning their event.

The new Ready.Set.Melbourne interactive video is somewhere between a video showreel and a choose-your-own-adventure book. The tool allows association decision-makers, appointed event planners and attendees to select the video that resonates most with the information they are seeking at a specific moment of their planning journey. All videos are infused with further interaction points, providing in-depth local knowledge that helps viewers to host, plan and attend a conference or corporate incentive program in and around Melbourne.

Clients in China can also access the information they need for a memorable, once-in-a-lifetime event in Melbourne via their Chinese language website. In addition, Chinese-speaking decision-makers, influencers and planners can communicate directly with MCB’s local team in Shanghai through WeChat.
