Congratulations to Karen Bolinger, CEO of the Melbourne Convention Bureau who is Past Chair and a Member of the Executive Committee of BestCities Global Alliance for her appointment as the new President of the Association of Australian Convention Bureaux (AACB).

The election was held at the AACB Annual General Meeting and announced at the opening of the AACB Conference on 6 September.

The Association of Australian Convention Bureaux (AACB) brings together Australia’s most influential city and regional bureaux, dedicated to marketing their specific region as premier business events destinations to domestic and international markets.
AACB and its members represent more than 1700 tourism and events industry operators.
