Association Day: 16:30 – 17:15

BestCities’ Managing Director, Paul Vallee will be moderating a session at the IMEX Association Day:

 Creating and communicating legacy impacts of your association and your meetings 

  • Meetings that leave a legacy build a world-class reputation for your association
  • Calculating, researching and shouting about the positive societal impact of your meeting
  • Inclusivity as a strategy – patients; minorities; delegates from developing regions; young future leaders; experts from other fields
  • Announcing a new financial grant programme to recognise excellence in this area

BestCities Media Breakfast: 08:30 – 09:30

BestCities will be hosting a media breakfast at the Maritim Hotel launching our overarching theme for the year, Building Global Connections Across Borders, we are kicking off 2017’s event with exciting news on a new legacy-focused partnership with ICCA and revealing big ambitions for the forthcoming BestCities Global Forum, taking place in Tokyo this December.

With Madrid Convention Bureau set to officially be recognised as BestCities twelfth member at the event, a range of expert speakers, including BestCities representatives and an association Customer Advisor Board member, are guaranteed to bring this year’s theme to life.
